2022 Community Grant Application

Trustees' Garden Club Grant Guidelines

 

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU APPLY


Trustees’ Garden Club adheres to the purpose of The Garden Club of America (GCA) which is to stimulate the knowledge and love of gardening, to share the advantages of association by means of educational meetings, conferences, correspondence and publications, and to restore, improve and protect the quality of the environment through educational programs and action in the fields of conservation and civic improvement. 


Grant applications should be consistent with at least one of these goals. 




Funding restrictions: Trustees’ Garden Club Community Grant does not finance:

  • Organizations that do not hold a 501 (c) (3) status.
  • Fraternal, Political, Labor, Athletic or Social Groups.
  • Funding for Institutional overhead or indirect costs incurred during a project.
  • Capital campaigns or endowments 
  • Activities of Organizations serving primarily their own members.
